I have loved dancing ever since I was 3 years old. I took dance lessons whenever and wherever I could. I loved contemporary dance as well as ballroom. Then I had to raise my family and career (not in dance).
Fortunately for me my husband loved dancing too. We went social dancing often until his health declined. After he passed, my son suggested I did things for “me”. I said I loved dancing.
There I was, came to Arthur Murray Glendale/Montrose, and just fell in love with the studio. Everyone embraced me and welcomed me into the dance family.
Here is where I found peace in my heart. I have learned so much in the past 4 – 5 years, not just the various dances I absolutely love dancing, but I grew as a person. I can truly say that dance saved me. I dance for my soul. Dance nourishes my soul.
