Important Information
How to Enter
Finalist of the 2023 WDC World Professional Ballroom Championship will be given complimentary entry. Member countries of the WDC may nominate up to two couples to represent their respective country.
Entry fees for nominated couples are waived. All non-nominated couples with a current WDC license (registration number) may enter. Entry Fee/Open Entry: US$150.00 per couple.
Deadline for all Entries and Forms is Monday, 07 October 2024*.
The Television/Loss Release must be included with your entry
submission. All competitors must be registered with the WDC. Entries will not be accepted without valid WD registration.
Additional Admission Tickets
Each participating couple will receive complimentary admission. Couples who participate in this World Championship may purchase up to an additional 4 tickets for their family and/or friends.
Admission Tickets are $250.00 per person and include reserved seating for all sessions on Saturday.
Request for tickets may only be made once approval of entry is received from the WDC. Payments for Entry and Admission Tickets must be made when submitted.
2023 WDC Ballroom Finalists
Finalists from the 2023 WDC World Ballroom Championship will receive one (1) double room for two (2) nights, arrival Friday, 1 November and depart Sunday, 3 November.
Additional room nights are at a discounted group rate of $US 445.00 per night for Friday and/or Saturday and $US 345.00 per night for Sunday. (Rates include all taxes and resort fees).
Additionally, a meal allowance (per diem) will be provided for finalist couples from the 2023 WDC World Ballroom Championship.
Ballroom Dress Code
Men: No jeans, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, sweatpants, sweatshirts, flip flops, tennis shoes, hats, visual piercings other than small tasteful earrings, or casual attire. Appropriate business attire is required. Hair, including facial hair should be clean, neat, and professional

Rehearsal
A two-hour rehearsal period with music will be provided on Friday night at the conclusion of that evening’s events for all couples.
Reception
There will be a Welcome Reception (Friday evening) and a Farewell Party (Saturday evening) for all participating couples and invited guests.
Parade of the Competitors
All couples wishing to participate in the competitor’s parade of flags ceremony on Saturday evening immediately before the Quarter Final Round must be ready and inline by 20:30 (8:30 p.m.).
The parade will commence at 20:45 (8:45 p.m.)
Hotel Reservation
Arthur Murray International is hosting the WDC World Professional Ballroom at the Bellagio Resort and Casino in the heart of the the mythic Las Vegas Strip.
Held in the magnificent Tower Ballroom and filled with the elecrifying atmosphere only an Arthur Murray Dance-o-Rama© can bring, you will remember this event forever!

Las Vegas International Airport (LAS) is approximately 15 minutes by taxi with fares approximately $US20.00-30.00.
Travel to/from the airport to the venue is the responsibility of each couple.

All couples, whether nominated or non-nominated by their respective country, MUST be first vetted by the WDC to participate in the World Professional Ballroom Championship.
